Carpet Cleaning  and Sealing

Because of the variation in carpet materials, always test carpet products in small, inconspicuous areas before full application. (* SafeChoice products not recommended on wool carpets.)

  • SafeChoice Carpet Shampoo Concentrate* (1 qt = 1200 sq. ft.), and
  • SafeChoice Carpet Seal carpet fiber and backing sealer* (300 sq.ft/gal), and
  • SafeChoice Lock Out fiber sealer* (300 sq.ft/gal)

Carpet Installation

Ceramic or Natural Linoleum Floor Tiles

  • Safecoat 3-in-1 Adhesive (50-120 sq.ft/gal, based on trowel used), and
  • Safecoat Grout Sealer (1qt @100 linear ft of grout lines), and
  • Safecoat MexeSeal (semi-gloss finish) (3c @350 sq.ft/gal), and
  • Safecoat Polyureseal BP Gloss or Satin (3c @350-500 sq.ft/gal)

Cleaning Products

SafeChoice Cleaners

  • Super Clean All Purpose Cleaner & Degreaser – odorless, non-offensive, safe for the chemically-sensitive. Free of butyl ethers, ammonia, chlorine and dyes. Absorbs and helps eliminate odors including tobacco, animals and smoke and soot damage.
  • Safety Clean Bath & Bowl Cleaner – Low odor, non-offensive, save for the chemically-sensitive. Dye free.
  • X-158 Surface Sealer – Clear liquid coating for prophylactic use where mold and mildew are likely. Not a cleaning agent but a clear defensive sealer. Nontoxic, low odor (odor-free when dry).
  • Head & Body Shampoo – Odorless, fragrance and dye-free, non-irritating, leaves no residue. Excellent for children as a bubble bath, no stinging eyes. Biodegradable, nontoxic.

  • Safecoat Safe Seal (1+c @350 sq.ft/gal). NOT RECOMMENDED AS A FINISH SEALER.

Previously Painted Surface – If clear coat is desired

  • Safecoat Hard Seal (2-3 c @300 sq.ft/gal). Multiple coats may be necessary based on personal tolerance. (Note: White surfaces may develop golden patina.)
